Rodnyel has participated in the Study of Lionfish and Monitoring of Marine Megafauna in the Guna Yala Region, Panama organized by the NGO MarAlliance in collaboration with the Center for Environmental and Human Development (CENDAH) of the Guna Yala Region.
He is currently an intern in the Rohr Reef Resilience Project carried out by PhD. Matthieu Leray. He is also part of the research team for Shark Defenders Panama and Twin Oceans Research Foundation
