We are researching the migrating female scalloped hammerhead shark that migrates from the Galapagos Islands to Panama and returns with the objective of defining the sharks highway and the birthing areas of where their pups will be born.
This will give us tracking data via Satellite and Acoustic shark fin tagging so that we can present the accumulated data to the local Panamanian authorities to outline these important corredores and legally establish a non fishing zone during these migrating months.
