In 2022 Alexandra earned a STRI-SENACYT fellowship to develop a project as a principal investigator. She is currently working at the Collin Lab with Dr. Rachel Collin documenting seasonal patterns in diversity of hydromedusae (Cnidaria: Hydrozoa) in the coastal waters of the Bay of Panama and a Marine Biologist for Twin Ocean Research.
