PEARL ISLANDS SHARK EXPEDITION

This is a recent expedition in Dec 2022 that TWIN OCEANS RESEARCH conducted in the Pearl Islands off the Pacific coast of Panama .

This was to investigate an area that we suspected had a large population of sharks. We wanted to try and  confirm the species being maybe hammerhead tiger or bull sharks .

What we discovered was a healthy population of bull sharks . Some very large female ls estimating  approximately 500 to 600 pounds. When chumming for the sharks, we would get 7 to 9 at a time coming up behind the boat . Please listen and watch the video to learn a bit more on the expedition
